Melling Warranty Return Process

Melling is committed to providing the highest-quality products on the market, along with the best customer service. In the rare instance you receive a Melling product that fails to meet our quality standards, to ensure these rare situations are resolved quickly and fairly, please follow the instructions below. Our award-winning warranty service team will do everything they can to assist you and make it right.

1. Return the Product to the Place of Purchase
   •   All Melling warranty claims must be handled through the retailer where the product was originally purchased. Melling does not begin any warranty evaluation unless the part is returned through the retailer.
2. Retailer Paperwork Requirements
   •   Major Retailers: AutoZone, O’Reilly, and Advance Auto Parts have their own internal warranty paperwork.
   •   All Other Retailers: Must include a completed Melling Warranty Information Form.
   •   Claims cannot be processed until this form is completed and submitted.
3. Required Documents to Include in the Return Package with the Alleged Failed Part
   •   Completed Melling/Retailer Warranty Form
   •   Receipts and Repair orders related to the claimed part
   •   Invoice for Melling part purchased
4. What to Send Back (and What Not to Send)
   •   Only return the Melling parts involved in the claim. Do NOT send oil filters, oil, gaskets, bolts, engine blocks, cylinder heads, or unrelated components unless requested.
5. Shipping Information
   •   Ship all warranty parts (via the retailer) to:

6. Processing Time
   •   Typical claim processing time: 4–6 weeks from receipt.
